Don Edwards
Chief Executive Officer/ Co-founder
Don Edwards is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Golden Rule Hospice. He’s been in the healthcare industry since 1980; with a primary focus in the homecare industry. His healthcare experience ranges from home infusion, home medical equipment, home health, healthcare consulting and hospice. His tenor in hospice spans from being the Chief Operating Officer of a national hospice company, to being the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Compassionate Hospice of North Georgia from 2006 to 2011. During that time, he provided exceptional hospice care to patients and their families, within the 45 metro Atlanta counties. Don’s spent his career dedicated to ensuring that care was patient focused, with superior quality. Don’s goal is to continue providing superior quality to patients and families, within his community. Don resides in the Cumming area with his wife and children.
Shelisa Glynn-Kendrick R.N.
Chief Operating Officer/ Co-founder
Shelisa Glynn-Kendrick is the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of Golden Rule Hospice. She’s worked in the healthcare field for 20 years and within the hospice community for 18 years. Throughout her tenor in hospice, Lisa’s worked for local and national hospice companies. She recently worked for nine years as the Director of Clinical Operations for one of the largest hospice organizations in Atlanta, overseeing multiple sites in Georgia and South Carolina. Her healthcare experience includes Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Personal Care Homes, and Hospice Consulting. Lisa’s goal is to ensure that hospice care is provided with compassion, respect, and dignity. She’s spent her entire life in Georgia and understands the expectations of her community. Lisa resides in the metro Atlanta area with her husband and children.
